Position Description
The Logistics and Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that materials management requirements for CBS classes in the United States are met. This role involves coordinating with various CBS departments, class leaders, and our fulfillment vendor to efficiently complete necessary tasks. A significant part of this position involves managing orders throughout the year, which requires proficiency in multiple online systems and technologies. Strong Excel skills are essential for success in this role.
Additionally, this position is part of a team responsible for the vetting process of leaders involved with children, youth, and adults with special needs, including overseeing the Additional Background Information (ABI) and criminal records check process for all U.S. leaders.
Materials Management Responsibilities
- Coordinate with field leaders to communicate the ordering process to all U.S. class leaders.
- Manage fulfillment for printed lessons, working with fulfillment vendors to determine fulfillment strategies and quantities across the ministry.
- Assist in evaluating ways to improve the Membership System to enhance usability and accuracy in ordering materials.
- Troubleshoot basic computer and web browser issues.
- Process supplemental orders throughout the year for all class materials (e.g., lessons, supplies).
- Liaise with the fulfillment center regarding requirements, scheduling, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Utilize Excel tools to collect, review, and process class curriculum choices, ensuring accuracy and following up with classes when needed.
- Provide regular communication updates to class leadership regarding materials and ordering processes.
ABI Process Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs for CBS program trainers.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors to facilitate the regional implementation of new program training initiatives.

Additionally, we seek someone with the following qualifications, skills, and qualities:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including creating spreadsheets from scratch and using multi-dimensional worksheets, formulas, and advanced functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to analyze and improve processes for efficiency.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues (e.g., web browsers, online systems).
Preferred
- Prior experience in materials management and/or fulfillment.
- Familiarity with Community Bible Study.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move larger items with the assistance of lifts and other equipment.
Other
- Reports to the Director of Facilities and Logistics.
- Work Location: CBS Ministry Service Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, in-house position.
Starting Salary Range
- Annual salary range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
