Compliance Inspection Administrator

Community Association Management
Charlotte, NC Full Time
POSTED ON 3/20/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/20/2026

Because Communities Deserve Better!

At Community Association Management, we believe that great communities don’t happen by accident. They happen when expectations are clear, standards are upheld, and systems work the way they should.

Our WHY is simple:
To creatively find solutions and overcome challenges so we can work together to advance the common cause.

Behind every well-run compliance program is someone who ensures the structure exists for it to work properly. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and systems-minded professional to support our Compliance Inspection Department as a Compliance Inspection Administrator.

This role plays a critical part in helping our inspectors do their job effectively by ensuring community rules, violations, and enforcement structures are properly built and maintained inside our systems.

About the Role

The Compliance Inspection Administrator is the operational backbone of the Compliance Inspection Department.

You’ll be responsible for setting up violation rules, enforcement structures, and governing document references in our property management system for new communities and maintaining those configurations when policies change.

While our inspectors are out in the field helping communities stay beautiful and compliant, you’ll be ensuring the system behind the process is accurate, organized, and built correctly.

This position reports directly to the Compliance Inspection Manager and works closely with inspectors and community management teams.

What You’ll Do

Configure Compliance Rules for New Communities

When a new community joins our management, you’ll build the violation framework in our system.

This includes:

• Creating violation types in our property management system
• Entering governing document language related to violations
• Configuring violation escalation levels
• Setting fine schedules when applicable
• Ensuring violations reflect the association’s governing documents

Your work ensures our inspectors can enforce community standards fairly, consistently, and accurately.

Review Governing Documents

Every community has its own set of governing documents, and those documents define what can and cannot be enforced.

You’ll review these documents and translate them into structured violation setups inside our system.

If you enjoy reading, analyzing, and organizing complex information, this part of the role will be very rewarding.

Maintain and Update Compliance Configurations

Communities evolve. Rules change. Governing documents get amended.

When that happens, you’ll update our systems to ensure everything stays accurate.

This may include:

• Updating violation rules
• Adjusting fine structures
• Revising escalation timelines
• Updating inspection-related documentation

Support the Compliance Inspection Team

You’ll also help keep the department running smoothly by supporting inspectors and the Compliance Inspection Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting updated pre-inspection checklists from associations
• Maintaining documentation in company systems
• Supporting department process improvements

Track Compliance Inspector Vehicles

Our inspectors spend a lot of time in the field, and their vehicles are essential tools.

You’ll help track:

• Inspector mileage submissions
• Vehicle maintenance records
• Tag and registration renewals

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

People who thrive in this position typically:

• Enjoy organizing information and building structured systems.
• Have strong attention to detail and catch things others miss.
• Are comfortable reading policy, legal-style documents, or rules.
• Take pride in accuracy and doing things the right way.
• Prefer structured, process-driven work rather than constant interruptions.
• Like supporting a team behind the scenes to help them succeed.

Requirements

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and systems.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to read and interpret governing documents or legal-style language
• Excellent organizational skills
• Comfort working with multiple systems at once
• Strong written communication skills
• The ability to work independently while supporting a team

Experience in HOA management, property management, compliance, or legal document review is helpful — but not required.

We’re happy to train the right person who has the right mindset and attention to detail.
