Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Client Support Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. The Client Support Associate is responsible for updating, organizing and keeping client files. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating with donors regarding donations both onsite and through the Sharing Room email. They will keep records of client needs and make the appropriate donation connections to meet those needs. The client support associate will also handle the job board, monthly newsletter and information wall and will be updated bi-weekly to provide current resources and postings.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- The Client Support Services Associate will be responsible for completing client intake forms, making necessary referrals, providing case management support services
- The Client Support Services Associate will be responsible for all aspects of donation connections, including communications between donors and clients, as well as organizing the internal donations binder
- Accept/reject donations at pantry reception desk
- Collecting proper and accurate data for entry in PantrySoft and other systems
- Processing benefit applications and emergency assistance forms
- Providing check-in services for the Food Pantry during distribution hours
- Assist in the Sharing Room when needed
- Assisting in the various seasonal programs such as Toy Drive, School Supply Drive and Coat Drive
- Answer phones and take messages
Essential Duties:
- Meet with clients to provide case management.
- Complete and process emergency and benefit applications.
- Oversee the proper completion of intakes and data entry.
- Communicate with donors and clients.
- Provide resources, referrals and organization updates to clients.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey information and build rapport with clients
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Customer service expertise with a positive attitude focused on problem-solving and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, some college preferred
- Experience in human services field preferred
- Computer Skills
- Bilingual appreciated
