As a Community Services Specialist, you are often the first point of contact for people seeking help. Your work directly supports individuals and families as they navigate services that address basic needs and long-term stability. This role is essential to our mission of ending poverty and strengthening our community.
What You’ll Do:
(Duties include, but are not limited to):
- Provide information and assistance to community members seeking services
- Answer and return phone calls with care, respect, and a solutions-focused mindset
- Conduct intakes for new clients and assist with service transactions
- Make referrals to Community Action Partnership programs and community partners
- Identify and refer individuals and families who may benefit from the Future Story Initiative
- Enter and update client information in CaseWorthy and other program systems
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting confidentiality
- Support Community Services and Future Story Initiative activities as needed

Schedule:
- Full-time (32 hours per week)
- Monday–Thursday
- No nights or weekends
Wage:
- $20–$25 per hour (DOE)

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Customer service and/or office experience preferred
