What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Assistant position at Community Action of Southern Kentucky?
Full-time position available with our Children’s Services Program in Butler County.
Duties will include assisting the teacher in planning and carrying out the daily activities of the classroom and providing educational instruction to three and four year old children.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with 2 years of employment required; or have an associate or baccalaureate (in any area) or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree. Experience working with children in a classroom setting. Must have a valid Kentucky Driver’s License and ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Good communication skills a must.
Salary: Salary will be based on education and experiencer, with an excellent benefit package.
