Location: Virginia Williamson Elementary School
Communities In Schools of Brunswick County is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a Success Coach at Virginia Williamson Elementary. The full-time role focuses on case management and providing targeted support to at-risk students through evidence-based strategies and strong community collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual School Support Plans and Individual Student Support Plans.
- Provide case management services for identified at-risk students.
- Build and maintain strong community partnerships to connect students and families with needed services.
- Serve as a liaison between schools and families, fostering positive relationships and engagement.
- Collect, evaluate, and use data to monitor progress and adjust supports accordingly.
- Recruit and manage volunteers and in-kind donations to support programming.
- Collaborate with school staff and community partners to enhance student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, or a related field.
- Three years of experience working in public schools or with student populations.
- Knowledge of local community resources and support systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Computer Proficient.
Position Details:
- Full-time (40 hours/week) with benefits, 11 month position (August to June)
