What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Cook position at Communion Restaurant?

You will execute the baking and pastry of the cafe/bakery (Paradis) and plated dessert (Communion) menus in cooperation with our executive team; preparing a variety of baked goods and plated desserts in a tasteful and beautiful way.
The focus of this job is on producing elevated, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and ability to multitask. Integrity and ability to work independently is a must. **Please be aware the shifts will be early AM shifts**

REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficient in baking and pastry, utilization of equipment, time management, basic knife skills, food safety knowledge, portioning, attention to detail, organizational skills, cleaning & sanitation, positive attitude, following recipes, taking direction and feedback, work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 Lbs.
