Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring presentation quality and food safety standards are maintained.
- Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently and accurately, supporting smooth restaurant operations.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including clearing empty dishes and resetting tables as needed.
- Support bussing duties by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to keep dining areas tidy and inviting.
- Monitor food temperatures during delivery to ensure freshness and safety for guests.
- Provide friendly, attentive guest service by answering questions about menu items and assisting with special needs or requests.
Requirements
- At least 2 years prior experience in fan upscale restaurant is required; familiarity with food handling, preparation, and serving techniques.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging positively with guests.
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures ensures a safe dining experience for all.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift moderate loads, and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment throughout your shift.
