What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Clinician/Supervisor position at COMMUNICARE INC?
CommuniCare is seeking a licensed bilingual clinician (Spanish/English) to provide compassionate mental health care for monolingual Spanish-speaking clients. In this dynamic role, you’ll deliver psychiatric evaluations, therapy, and integrated treatment planning while supervising a dedicated Latino community health worker. You’ll collaborate with partner sites to ensure culturally responsive care and help bridge gaps between families, agencies, and community resources. - Provide psychiatric evaluations, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family psychotherapy which is mobile, flexible, and responsive to consumers' needs across CommuniCare service sites.
- Participate in the development and ongoing process of an integrated service plan, helping consumers to respond constructively to treatment and assisting in adjustment leading to discharge.
- Supervises one full-time latino community health worker and program operations at CommuniCare service sites.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- LCSW and minimum of two years related experience serving individuals with Prolonged Mental Illness.
- At least one year of experience working with culturally diverse populations.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
