Our core values foster respect, courtesy, and professional excellence, allowing you to dedicate yourself to a career you love.Do You Have What It Takes to Be an RN MDS Coordinator?Qualifications & Experience:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; valid RN license in MarylandMinimum of three years’ experience in a long-term care environment preferredExperience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferredJob Responsibilities:The MDS Nurse/Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC) reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. This includes:Ensuring Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care complianceOverseeing appropriate clinical services and reimbursement for each residentMaintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as CommuniCare policies and proceduresServing as a key member of the facility’s management team to achieve and maintain quality outcomes
