What You'll Do
- Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections on precision components and assemblies.
- Verify product quality through dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Use precision inspection equipment including:
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Optical Comparator
- KEYENCE Image Measurement System
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Height Gages
- Thickness Gages
- Precision Gauges
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102).
- Create and document non-conformance reports when required.
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation within electronic systems.
- Perform calibration of inspection equipment.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training team members as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong dimensional inspection experience.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and CMM equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized inspection documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Experience
- First Article Inspection (AS9102)
- CMM Programming or Operation
- KEYENCE Image Measurement Systems
- Optical Comparator
- Calibration procedures
- Precision machining, aerospace, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
