QC Inspector CMM

What You'll Do

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections on precision components and assemblies.
• Verify product quality through dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Use precision inspection equipment including:
• • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
  • Optical Comparator
  • KEYENCE Image Measurement System
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Height Gages
  • Thickness Gages
  • Precision Gauges
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102).
• Create and document non-conformance reports when required.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation within electronic systems.
• Perform calibration of inspection equipment.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training team members as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong dimensional inspection experience.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and CMM equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized inspection documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience

• First Article Inspection (AS9102)
• CMM Programming or Operation
• KEYENCE Image Measurement Systems
• Optical Comparator
• Calibration procedures
• Precision machining, aerospace, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing environments

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
