CNC Laser Punch Press Programmer / Operator
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Punch Press Programmer/Operator to support sheet metal production. The role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC laser/punch combo machines (Amada or similar) in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC laser/punch combo machines for cutting and forming sheet metal parts.
Perform full machine setup, including programming (GibbsCAM/MasterCAM or similar), tooling installation, and material loading.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine settings and requirements.
Monitor operations, make parameter adjustments, and ensure product quality.
Inspect parts, perform basic maintenance, and follow all safety procedures.
Collaborate with production leads to meet schedules and quality goals.
Qualifications
5 years of experience programming and setting up CNC laser/punch combo machines (Amada preferred).
Proficient in CAD/CAM software (GibbsCAM, MasterCAM, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, tooling, and laser cutting processes.
Skilled in blueprint reading and use of precision measurement tools.
Effective communication and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
