This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on detailed electro-mechanical designs and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teamsDevelop 3D sheet metal components and assemblies, including flat patterns and detailed BOMsCreate wiring diagrams and electrical layouts using PLC components, breakers, relays, contactors, and power suppliesProduce 2D drawings, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD softwareCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient product designAnalyze project requirements and develop effective design solutions in a team environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field2–5 years of design experience, preferably in electro-mechanical or power distribution equipmentProficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (Autodesk preferred)Strong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred ExperienceKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience sizing conductors and overcurrent protection devices (OCPDs)Understanding of control circuits and electrical logic
