Scientific Sales Associate (Chemistry)

Position located in Providence, RI

Responsibilities of the Scientific Sales Associate (Chemistry):

• Apply technical knowledge of chemistry, laboratory skills, creative thinking and aptitude towards troubleshoot issues in chemical manufacturing.
• Work closely with Technical Support to help resolve customer issues that require in-depth experimental investigation.
• Generate new business by identifying and engaging high-potential prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads from our website and marketing channels.
• Schedule and lead educational introductory conversations with prospective customers.

Requirements of the Scientific Sales Associate (Chemistry):

• BS or MS in Chemistry, ChemE, or Life Science.
• 1-3 years of industry experience in scientific sales support or application engineering (inside or outside sales).
• Experience working in chemical coatings, adavanced materials, or related industrial applications preferred.
