Contract Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor basic automated packaging equipment used to package vials and associated product materials into individual finished packs.
• Load packaging materials, product vials, film, and data cards onto the automated production line.
• Monitor machine operation and ensure materials are feeding properly through various stages of the process, including feeding, dropping, camera inspection, sealing, and cutting.
• Perform routine quality checks to verify product counts, labeling, data card placement, bag seals, and overall package integrity.
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain proper operation and production flow.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or production problems to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel.
• Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping of equipment and the production area.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Accurately document production activities and complete required paperwork or electronic records.
• Learn and use the company’s ERP system, including SAP, for basic production and inventory-related activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or machine operating environment preferred.
• Ability to operate and monitor basic automated machinery and production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality or equipment issues.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use SAP or other ERP systems.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
