Management Technician

In this position, you will provide key administrative support for the Bureau of Air Quality and keep daily operations organized and on track. The work you will do plays an essential role in managing grants, contracts, agreements, invoices, and other important program processes. As a Management Technician, you will perform the following duties:

• Grant Support: Review grant materials, track agreements, and ensure compliance with required procedures
• Contract Coordination: Prepare contract documents, monitor budgets, and work with staff and contractors to resolve issues
• Invoice Review: Examine invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure proper approvals before payment
• Record Management: Maintain accurate financial and administrative records for reporting and auditing needs
• Program Assistance: Support field operations, training activities, and administrative needs for bureau projects

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training. 
• An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
