DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility for residents, visitors, and staff. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Deep Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and specialized spaces throughout the facility
- General Cleaning: Carry out routine tasks such as mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces and fixtures
- Waste Handling: Empty waste containers, dispose of trash, and manage recyclable and infectious waste materials
- Supply Restocking: Refill soap, paper products, trash bags, and other needed supplies in assigned areas
- Room Preparation: Clean, sanitize, and organize resident rooms and move furniture or equipment when needed
- Outdoor Tasks: Assist with snow removal, clear debris, and maintain safe walkways and exterior areas
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
