EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation by operating equipment and assisting with field work on reclamation projects. You will play an important role in restoring damaged land and maintaining safe and efficient operations. As an Equipment Operator B, you will perform the following duties: Equipment Operation: Operate dozers, loaders, excavators, trucks, and other machinery for reclamation workField Support: Assist with manual labor tasks using tools such as welders, torches, and hand toolsVehicle Maintenance: Clean, fuel, and perform basic repairs on vehicles and equipmentRecord Keeping: Maintain logs of equipment use, hours of operation, and material movementLogistics Assistance: Help schedule repairs, obtain estimates, and transport equipment between locationsSafety Compliance: Follow safety procedures, observe hazards, and promote safe work practicesInterested in learning more?
