At Southwestern Veterans' Center in Pittsburgh, you'll provide hands-on care to Pennsylvania veterans while building a stable career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
What You'll Do
Your work helps residents feel comfortable, supported, and at home. You'll:
- Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and moving safely
- Support resident comfort, mobility, and independence
- Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff
- Take and record vital information
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms
- Assist residents during admissions, transfers, and other transitions

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Opportunities are available on all three shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Each shift includes a 30-minute lunch. You'll work rotating days and every other weekend.
Do You Qualify?
- You must have active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry for this position.
