The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is looking for a self-motivated, energetic person, who possesses the skills and desires to care for Kentucky’s Veterans.
The expectations for a Patient Aide I (Interaction Guide) including but not limited to:
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: NONE
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Normal working conditions within a health care facility. These facilities may include persons with abnormal behaviors and/or contagious diseases. Frequent exposures to blood and body fluids inherent in an institutional setting which requires the following of safety procedures.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 9 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
