As Park Desk Clerk Supervisor, you will fill a key leadership role in our lodging operations. You will coordinate the activities of the Park Desk Clerks and Night Auditors to ensure high-quality guest service. Your experience and expertise will focus on maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
As Park Desk Clerk Supervisor, you will fill a key leadership role in our lodging operations. You will coordinate the activities of the Park Desk Clerks and Night Auditors to ensure high-quality guest service. Your experience and expertise will focus on maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and control the overall front desk guest experience to include registration, creative guest problem resolution, correct billing and cordial appreciation upon departure.
- Motivate staff within Front Desk department and work to help establish a productive working environment for the park.
- Assist in conducting training, lead department meetings
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing daily statistics. Lead revenue meetings to maximize ADR, RevPAR, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Supervise night audit function and ensure reports are accurately distributed to other departments
- Schedule Front Desk clerks and oversee the review process as well as hiring of temp service staff
- Analyze and generate guest issues, billing and daily reports, and communicate information to front desk employees as well as members of other appropriate departments.
- Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a courteous and friendly manner, and ensure appropriate actions are taken. Follow up to ensure completion.
- Coordinate and assist with housekeeping department to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrival. Complete weekly inspections of rooms.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of experience in the front desk operation of a lodging facility.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for work experience on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Work is typically performed indoors in a state park setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
