We are currently seeking applications for a KHP Mechanical Maintenance Technician-KHP. This position will perform the work in the following duties installing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning; heating; ventilation and electrical and plumbing systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, work well with a team and be highly motivated to get the job done.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: NONE
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Incumbents working in this job title are required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop and have good manual and finger dexterity.
Working Conditions
Incumbents in the job will typically perform their job duties under these conditions. May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.

- Install, repair and maintain the air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and electrical and plumbing systems
- Monitors the mechanical and plumbing systems to ensure proper operations
- Inspects and checks the working performance of equipment according to specifications
- Keeps basic records of work performed on such systems
- Other duties as assigned or needed
