Description
The Thomson Hood Veterans Center is looking for a self-motivated, energetic part time Housekeeper/Laundry Worker.

Skills and expectations for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage.
The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.

***This position has an approved Locality Premium of $8.89, based on the organizational structure and work county it is currently assigned to, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1). .

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
