Description

The Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a 60-bed long-term care facility located in beautiful Bowling Green, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to work in our nursing department as a Charge Nurse. This position will serve in the role of Charge Nurse and supervise professional and ancillary employees in the administration of efficient nursing care.

Applicants should have an active, unrestricted status as a Registered Nurse on the KBN licensure verification.

This position would be considered night shift (2200-0730 & every other weekend)

**This position, in Warren County has an approved Locality Premium of $10.62 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).**

• This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:
• Second & Third shift: 15%
• Weekend: 25%
• Holidays: 25%
  
  

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: See Special Requirements.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.
