SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) - PART TIME - HOME HEALTH CONTRACT
We are looking for a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for Home Health contract work.
Summary
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop therapy sessions in the home to improve communication and swallowing function
- Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and safety techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other rehab team members
- Document progress and care delivery in EMR
- Travel to patient homes in your assigned area
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathic, dependable, and self-motivated
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
