Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM Designer in our Indianapolis South office (Headquarters). This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a degree in Drafting and Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Duties include working with civil, environmental, and electrical engineers on design activities, supporting 3D designs, preparing report figures, and performing project fieldwork and survey activities. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project engineers on design activities
- Support Senior staff with 3D designs
- Prepare engineering drawings for construction
- Assist with quantity take-offs
- Perform project fieldwork and survey activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency with Revit
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Municipal project experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients
