Facilities Technician Senior

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Senior Facilities Technician, you will repair, maintain, and operate the hospital buildings and equipment to provide a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Every day you will perform complex maintenance tasks, actively develop and evaluate competencies for other facilities staff members, and provide essential mentoring and coaching in technical areas, ensuring high standards of facility operation.

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced technical expertise in facilities maintenance, strong leadership and mentorship skills, a keen eye for operational efficiency and safety, and a commitment to developing a high-performing facilities team.

• Demonstrates advanced skills across all facilities areas.
• Accurate completion of preventive maintenance.
• Interacts with contractors and provides support as needed.
• Ability to interpret schematics, construction drawings and plans.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and meets all applicable codes.
• Develops and coaches competencies for other facilities positions.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Four (4) years commercial/industrial experience in a facilities related field
• Valid state driver's license

Preferred

• Two 2 year technical degree in a facilities related field
