$47.52 - $70.68 /hour

- Utilizing a significant amount of independent judgment tests patient samples through various chemical, microscopic, serological, and bacteriologic techniques
- Assists management with the maintenance of appropriate policies, procedures and equipment as requested
- Conducts orientation and training of new personnel and monitors performance of appropriate personnel in the section of primary responsibility as requested
- Operates and maintains automated equipment and maintains an adequate inventory of departmental supplies
- Performs quality control, quality assurance, and performance improvement indicators routinely in the department
- Maintains work areas in an appropriate state of orderliness
Required
- Recent clinical laboratory experience required
- Clinical Lab Scientist: CA
- Bachelors in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences
- Experience in an acute care hospital
