Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Gift Shop Admin Coordinator, you will be an integral contributor to our operational success, providing comprehensive support to leadership and ensuring an environment of efficiency and high-quality service.Every day, you will facilitate the streamlined operation of the office, managing diverse administrative functions and cultivating effective internal and external communication networks.To thrive in this critical role, you will demonstrate exceptional organizational acumen, a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to anticipating needs and delivering accurate, timely support.
- Assist with the collection of the daily receipts in Gift Shop, prepares deposit, maintains ledger and reconciles envelopes to the cash register. Responsible for recording expenses and income into computer excel sheets, prepares monthly cash flow statements, monthly gross sales, inputs monthly budget data and provides a daily breakdown of sales to Finance. Responsible for keeping correct change in Gift Shop cash register and cash bag.
- Coordinates ordering and invoicing for flower sales. Assists in the processing of freight from putting the freight into the Point of Sale system, price tagging, and putting merchandise onto the sales floor. Assists in keeping the back stock room and basement organized.
- Coordinates the Gift Shop inventory annually. Reports to the Gift Shop Supervisor any out of stock & low inventory items that need to be ordered.
- Check with internet sales and assure prompt delivery, along with updating and processing orders from the website.
- Assist in covering shifts in the Gift shop when volunteers are absent. When not at the register work with customers using suggestive selling, straighten shelves and perform light housekeeping.
- Assists with annual volunteer banquets, Christmas party and other volunteer related events. Attends events as representative of St. Francis.
Job Requirements
Required:
- High School GED General Studies
Preferred:
- 1-3 years Two (2) years of retail gift shop experience to include responsibilities in displaying and excellent customer service
