Overview: In partnership with the Hunger Task Force (https://www.hungertaskforce.org/), CommonBond is excited to offer a free Summer Meal Program at Meadow Village and Florist Gardens! From June to the end of August, meals will be available for Meadow Village and Florist Garden residents as well as the general public. Step into a leadership role as a Resident Experience Coordinator. In this position, you will provide general assistance while also leading and guiding to ensure a smooth and successful meal distribution process. As a resident experience coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for residents and contribute to the mission in promoting dignity, respect, and inclusiveness for all.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with delegating tasks & ensuring everyone is working effectively & cooperatively.
Offer support and answer questions from volunteers, providing guidance, and clarifications when needed.
Foster a positive & inclusive atmosphere by promoting teamwork, respect, & effective communication among volunteers
Collaborate with staff members to address any issues, concerns, or challenges that may arise.
Wipe down eating tables after someone leaves to prepare the spot for a new participant.
Work with staff in encouraging Meadow Village residents to participate in meal service.
Time Commitment
4 hours a day
Meals provided: June through August.
