We are seeking a full-time on-site General Manager to lead operations at Cambria Beach Lodge in Cambria, CA. In this role, you will oversee the property’s daily operations, ensure that guests receive exceptional service, manage and inspire a diverse team, and drive overall financial and operational success. Core responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, maintaining brand standards, monitoring guest satisfaction, creating exceptional guest experiences, and coordinating with vendors and local partners. As General Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the team, optimizing performance, and creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the Common Thread Hotels ethos.
- Leadership and management skills, including team building, staff development, and operational oversight
- Experience in hospitality operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management, financial reporting, and achieving revenue and operational targets
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities to ensure positive guest experiences
- Knowledge of boutique hotel operations, design, and branding, particularly within lifestyle-driven properties
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant software for reservations, reporting, and general property management
- Ability to work on-site in Cambria, CA, with a deep appreciation for the local community and culture
- Prior experience as a General Manager or comparable senior hospitality role is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
Salary : $72,000 - $80,000
