Position: Staff Accountant (Full-Time)

As we scale, we need a detail-obsessed accountant who can own our daily financial operations and help bring accuracy, clarity, and stability to our fast-moving team.
Role Overview
We currently need a hands-on Staff Accountant who can manage the day-to-day accounting, reporting, payroll inputs, and partner payments with precision. This is very much a roll-up-your-sleeves role—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and loves getting the numbers right.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily accounting tasks including AP, AR, and general ledger entries
- Own QuickBooks: maintenance, updates, reconciliations, and accuracy
- Handle payroll prep and ensure all payroll inputs are correct
- Manage weekly and monthly vendor payments (high accuracy required)
- Perform daily/weekly reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Assist with tax prep and ensure compliance
- Improve processes and fix recurring accounting issues
- Support leadership by providing accurate financial information and reports
Qualifications
- 2 years of accounting experience (staff accountant or similar)
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Extreme attention to detail—you live for accuracy
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
- Experience in startups, finance, marketing, sales, or fitness is a plus
- Ability to work independently and own processes from start to finish
- Comfortable with change, speed, and new challenges
