POSITION OVERVIEW
Maintains existing customer base by servicing customers’ needs and servicing existing accounts and related sales to ensure that customer is aware of industry best practices. Responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing and repairs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer vehicles; Inspects and diagnose service and tire problems. Communicate necessary repairs and/or replacement of parts, recommend additional preventative services and helps sell services to the customer, if warranted.
- Provides excellent customer service to existing accounts by staying in touch, immediate follow-up and resolving issues.
- Ability to use ELD and complete daily truck inspections (DVIR)
- Completes service orders; process tickets, invoices, and bills out customers, verifies credit status of customer, makes billing adjustments.
- Initiates purchase orders for parts, assist with updating information on the computer and maintains records/files for follow-up.
- Operate air compressor, impact gun, and other various machines and tools.
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness and mechanical maintenance, and ensures vehicle registration, insurance, safety and OSHA materials and devices are up to date.
- Tire work (retail and/or commercial, on and off site)
- Active role in product and service sales
- Mount and dismount, air pressure checks and repairs.
- Ensures lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications for every tire mount.
- Demonstrates proven ability to take after hours calls in an effective and efficient manner.
- Proficient in the larger truck and the equipment needed on the larger trucks.
- Completes all necessary training (MSHA, OTR, AG, Industrial, as applicable)
- Ability to safely and effectively operate boom truck.
- Meets or exceeds managements productivity goals.
- Proficient with Toolbox and Basys; How to properly scan, transfer, and return inventory.
- Ability to look up fluid volumes for tire size.

QUALIFICATIONS – required.
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- DOT Driver Qualification file (q-file) Medical Certification and TIA Certification to operate vehicles greater than 10,000 lbs.
- 1-2 years of tire industry related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
