POSITION OVERVIEW
Maintains existing customer base by servicing customers’ needs and servicing existing accounts and related sales to ensure that customer is aware of industry best practices. Responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing and repairs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer vehicles; Inspects and diagnose service and tire problems. Communicate necessary repairs and/or replacement of parts, recommend additional preventative services and helps sell services to the customer, if warranted.
- Provides excellent customer service to existing accounts by staying in touch, immediate follow-up and resolving issues.
- Ability to use ELD and complete daily truck inspections (DVIR).
- Completes service orders; process tickets, invoices, and bills out customers, verifies credit status of customer, makes billing adjustments.
- initiates purchase orders for parts, assist with updating information on the computer and maintains records/files for follow-up.
- Operate air compressor, impact gun, hub-cab hammer and other various machines and tools.
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness and mechanical maintenance, and ensures vehicle registration, insurance, safety and OSHA materials and devices are up to date.
- Tire work (retail and/or commercial, on and off site) Mount and dismount, air pressure checks and repairs.
- Manage a group of customers by servicing and selling recommended products and services.
- Performs fleet inspections and provides excellent customer service to existing accounts by staying in touch, immediate follow-up and resolving issues.
- Able to use systems to properly document, examples: Point of Sale (TME) and Fleet Inspection software.
- Ability to operate boom truck safely and effectively.
- Demonstrates the ability to conform to DOT and Commercial Tire driving requirement.
- Meets or exceeds managements productivity goals.
- Proficient with email, product knowledge (good, better, best), and retreading benefits
- Proficient with Toolbox and Basys; How to properly scan, transfer, and return inventory.
- Proficient Treadstat if applicable; Printing and reviewing reports with customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS – required.
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.
- DOT Driver Qualification file (q-file) and Medical Certification to operate vehicles greater than 10,000 lbs.
- TIA CST, Industrial 200, AG 200, ETS 300, MSHA Part 48.
- 3 years of tire industry related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent(preferred)
