Job Description:
Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of the ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project. This initiative focuses on enhancing a web-based platform that supports wildfire recovery efforts, including rebuild eligibility, entitlement coordination, and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for the ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including GIS specialists, developers, and business stakeholders
- Oversee technical development efforts, including web-based applications and system integrations
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure alignment with City priorities and State recovery requirements
- Maintain quality standards and ensure all deliverables meet contractual expectations
- Support integration of GIS, application development, and web-based tools into a unified platform
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Project Management for large-scale, technology-driven initiatives
- Strong background in managing cross-functional and technical teams
- Experience with software/application development projects, especially web-based systems
- Familiarity with GIS systems and integrations (highly desirable)
- Ability to manage stakeholders, timelines, risks, and deliverables effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with government or public sector agencies
- Knowledge of urban planning, entitlement processes, or compliance systems
- Experience with enterprise system integrations and data-driven platforms
