IT Project Manager – ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of the ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project. This initiative focuses on enhancing a web-based platform that supports wildfire recovery efforts, including rebuild eligibility, entitlement coordination, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for the ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including GIS specialists, developers, and business stakeholders
• Oversee technical development efforts, including web-based applications and system integrations
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery
• Ensure alignment with City priorities and State recovery requirements
• Maintain quality standards and ensure all deliverables meet contractual expectations
• Support integration of GIS, application development, and web-based tools into a unified platform

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Project Management for large-scale, technology-driven initiatives
• Strong background in managing cross-functional and technical teams
• Experience with software/application development projects, especially web-based systems
• Familiarity with GIS systems and integrations (highly desirable)
• Ability to manage stakeholders, timelines, risks, and deliverables effectively
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with government or public sector agencies
• Knowledge of urban planning, entitlement processes, or compliance systems
• Experience with enterprise system integrations and data-driven platforms
