Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities):
- Leads, develops, directs, coaches, and evaluates the performance of Warehousing and Assembly Teams
- Write and deliver performance reviews and has periodic discussions on performance with direct reports ensuring accuracy, honesty, and timeliness of delivery.
- Effectively identify and address performance management issues as they arise. Give recognition in a timely manner for satisfactory performance.
- Leads hiring, training, terminations, and succession planning for team.
- Assigns Operators daily assignments to meet schedule requirements and company objectives.
- Supports all operational procedures for all areas of Finishing. i.e.: Assembly, Packing, Sanding, Paint Line, John Deere Line, Robot
- Leads team to trouble shoot, modify, and set up processes and work cells when needed.
- Investigate, identify, and implement corrective actions for sources of OSHA recordable accidents, incidents, and near miss.
- Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
- Verifies workstations are set up correctly for jobs.
- Verifies accuracy of daily scrap production report and data entry
- Creates shop packets and labels per the schedule demand.
- Ensure proper filing of documentation for travelers, forklift sheets, etc.
- Uses ERP, MSO and DSO as needed for successful daily operations.
- Maintaining housekeeping standards
- Performs daily documented safety walk and corrects issues with root cause analysis.
- Facilitates weekly shift meetings with team covering safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Performs all other assignments as required.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation for your team
- Responsible for the supervisory activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

Physical & Mental Demands:
- Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally.
- Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis
- Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours)
- Use miscellaneous hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered.
- Ability to work with small parts down to a bolt size of ¼” in diameter.
- Good hand and wrist dexterity
- Visually inspect all parts
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:
This position is required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
