We are seeking a Part-Time Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and properly handling kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food and cleanliness. This is a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and portioning throughout service
- Maintain prep levels and ensure timely service
- Follow allergen procedures and prevent cross-contamination
- Communicate effectively with team members on orders and timing
- Set up, clean, and maintain workstations and equipment
- Follow proper food storage, labeling, and temperature control procedures
- Receive and manage inventory; report low stock and minimize waste
- Complete opening/closing duties and follow operational checklists
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Maintain professional appearance and safe work practices
- Follow all food safety regulations (ServSafe, health department, etc.)
- Report safety issues or equipment concerns promptly
- Participate in trainings and team meetings
- Minimum 1 year of food service experience (required). ?
- Culinary certification (preferred). ?
- Serve Safe Certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment (required).
- High school diploma (preferred). ?
- Must be 18 years or older (required).
- Strong understanding of food prep, safety, and kitchen operations. ?
- Ability to follow procedures, safety rules, and health regulations. ?
- Excellent communication; team-oriented and adaptable. ?
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
