What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr Sales Representative position at Commercial Insurance Brokerage?
About the Role:
We’re looking for driven individuals to join our sales team as Jr Sales Associates. This is an entry-level sales position focused on outbound calling for commercial insurance opportunities (workers comp, EPLI, General Liability, Property, etc). You’ll be speaking with business owners daily, mainly dedicated to the transportation industry among others.
If you're a strong communicator, tech-savvy, and motivated to grow—even with no prior insurance experience—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to business owners regarding commercial insurance needs
- Use a sales dialer such as Orum or PhoneBurner (training provided if unfamiliar)
- Handle frequent rejection while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Work toward individual sales goals and team metrics
- Learn how to navigate CRM tools (Salesforce) and other internal platforms
- Collaborate with experienced team members and attend ongoing training sessions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and resilience under pressure
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt and retain information quickly
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems (prior experience with Orum or PhoneBurner is a plus)
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Reliable transportation to our new office location in Encino, CA
- 1–2 years of sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
