- Customer service: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, identifying the correct parts, providing price quotes, and processing sales orders.
- Inventory management: Monitoring stock levels, receiving and checking incoming parts, managing backorders, identifying and reporting overages or shortages.
- Part identification: Using parts catalogs and computer systems to accurately identify and locate parts based on customer descriptions.
- Vendor communication: Placing orders with suppliers resolving any issues with deliveries.
- Technical knowledge: Maintaining a working knowledge of the products, including technical specifications and compatibility.
- Data entry: Recording sales transactions, updating inventory records, and maintaining customer information in computer systems.
- Special orders: Processing special orders for hard-to-find or non-stocked parts.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.14 per hour
