What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator/Project Manager position at Commercial Flooring Concepts, Inc.?
Established flooring contractor is seeking a motivated Project Estimator to become part of our team. This position is an integral part of our commercial sales department. The ability to work well with others in a deadline, detail-oriented environment is a must.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Estimating experience (3-5 years) or Construction Management with drafting or CAD knowledge
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with computers- estimating and industry specific software and Microsoft Office products
- Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, specs
- Demonstrate sharp mathematical, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure, fast paced environment and be able to adapt to schedule changes due to unforeseen conditions
- Effectively manage day-to-day interaction with high profile clients, general contractors, sales and office personnel
- High attention to detail, follow up and extraordinary customer service
- Ability to quickly learn and master new skills
