About Us & Our Culture: Building Our Future Together

Welcome to Commercial Casework Industries (CCI). We are a multi-million-dollar premier commercial millwork company specializing in corporate interiors, hospitality, healthcare, and retail spaces.

Here is what makes us different: We are 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP).

We don't just build millwork; we build a company together. Because every team member has a direct financial stake in our success, we have a uniquely collaborative culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work every day. We support each other, celebrate our wins, and share directly in the rewards of our hard work.

Are You Our Next Partner?

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager who wants to think like an owner and bring a proactive attitude to the team. Our culture relies on five core pillars:

  • Mutual Loyalty & Trust: We have each other's backs and build open, honest partnerships with colleagues and clients.
  • Drive: We push ourselves and each other to excel, knowing our individual success directly fuels our collective growth.
  • Positive Attitude: We treat challenges as opportunities and bring constructive energy to the job every day.
  • Creativity: We think outside the box to engineer smart solutions for complex architectural designs.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You treat every project like it is your own business—because, as an owner, it is.

The Role: Key Responsibilities

As an Employee-Owner and Project Manager, you will serve as the central hub of our projects. You will orchestrate operations between tier-1 General Contractors, architects, drafting teams, our fabrication shop, and field installers.

  • Project Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent commercial millwork projects, taking personal accountability for hitting milestones and financial targets.
  • Client & GC Liaison: Act as the trusted primary point of contact for General Contractors and clients, managing job site coordination through transparent communication.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage project budgets, track labor and material costs, actively pursue change orders, and oversee monthly progress billings to maximize profits.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with our engineering department to resolve architectural RFIs and value-engineer complex millwork details without compromising design intent.
  • Logistics & Scheduling: Keep production and field installation supervisors aligned through shifting project schedules while maintaining steady momentum.
  • Quality Compliance: Ensure all fabrication and installation meet strict project specifications, ADA compliance, and AWI premium standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience specifically within commercial architectural millwork or commercial interiors.
  • Cultural Fit: A demonstrable track record of leadership that aligns with our values of trust, positivity, and a self-starter mindset.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced ability to read and interpret commercial blueprints, shop drawings, finish schedules, and MEP drawings. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Crow’s Nest, or Microvellum is highly preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with commercial fabrication techniques, finish carpentry, materials, and AWI standards.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, CAD or equivalent hands-on trade experience in commercial interiors will be given preferential consideration.

Perks & Benefits That Matter

  • 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP): Build real wealth for your future with company shares funded at zero cost to you.
  • Competitive Salary: Base pay commensurate with your experience.
  • Comprehensive Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family healthy.
  • Financial Security: Combine your ESOP value with an optional 401(k) retirement plan to maximize your future security.
  • Life & Disability: Full life insurance and short-term disability plans designed to safeguard you and your loved ones.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO and paid holidays so you can rest and recharge.
