The Senior Code Enforcement Inspector, assists in the coordination of the daily operations for code enforcement activities and handles the more difficult and complex inspections and investigations. This position acts with limited supervision and assists Code Enforcement Inspectors with training and helps develop processes within the Code Enforcement Team. This position may act as a lead or supervisor in the Code Enforcement Supervisor’s absence.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
Hiring Range $64,848.06 -$72,053.40

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of college along with two years’ experience in Code Enforcement OR High school or GED diploma and four years of Code Enforcement experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (and maintain valid driver’s license while employed in this position). Must hold a valid Code Enforcement Certification, preferable from CACEO and the ability to obtain advanced certification within two years of hire date.
