Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and seize new business opportunities using your network and industry insights.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends to recommend innovative solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with product teams to customize offerings that meet client demands effectively.

Travel Requirements:

What you will bring to the team:

Experience

  • 5 years of proven experience in sales as an AE/AM, or similar
  • Knowledge of sales and negotiating principles
  • Proven track record of B2B sales experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency with productivity and web presentation tools, MS Office, Zoom, Salesforce, Connectwise Sell (formerly Quosal)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and prospects; ability to articulate compelling value verbally and in writing form

Education:

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required

Account Executive Expectations:

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building
  • Customer Engagement - Strategically enhancing relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with customers

Account Planning:

  • Customer Education - Present and demonstrate the value of appropriate products and services to prospective buyers
  • Manage accounts for long-term success with a focus on uncovering pain points
  • Identify, support, and solve customer needs and market appropriate products and services in order to develop new sales opportunities
  • Schedule/attend appointments

Professional Development:

  • Stay current with company offerings and industry trends through ongoing research and education
  • Engage manufacturers of products sold directly and through webinars to fully understand product capabilities

Target Achievement:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from discovery to close to follow-up
  • Perform prospecting activities such as cold calling and networking as needed
  • Track account targets, monitor sales, and prepare reports on accounts and transactions as needed

Sales Development:

  • Meet with customers to understand project scope, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop Proposals that solve customer challenges
