Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ormond Beach, FL, for a Buyer. The Buyer will procure materials, components, and services needed to support production and business operations. Responsibilities include assessing purchase requests, negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, managing inventory levels, and maintaining records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain management is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and supply chain management skills, including negotiating, purchasing, and managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in inventory management and logistics to ensure operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials specific to the medical device industry is preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems and a good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations is a plus.
