Business Teacher
Commack High School
Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate lessons on the foundations of financial literacy to include personal budgeting, smart investment, and help students identify responsible financial literacy decision making
- Instruct students utilizing Bloomberg Terminals
- Collaborate with colleagues for classes to promote a deeper understanding of economics
- Lead and facilitate student learning experiences within advanced coursework, preparing students for the opportunity to sit for Bloomberg certification exams
- Maintain portal access, terminal accounts, and the day-to-day operations of the finance lab Participate in continued professional development in partnership with Bloomberg
Job Qualifications
- New York State Business and Marketing Certification required
- Professional experience in Finance or Business preferred
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg Financial and/or Bloomberg Terminals preferred
