- Have experience in home health or community‑based skilled nursing
- Are comfortable completing comprehensive patient assessments

One‑on‑One Patient Care
Provide focused, individualized care in patient homes without the pace of facility‑based settings.
Flexible Compensation Structure
- Compensation may be per visit or hourly, depending on the case
- Assessment visits and routine visits are compensated differently based on scope and responsibility
- PRN, per‑diem, or flexible caseloads
- Visit schedules coordinated based on nurse availability and patient needs
- Complete initial and ongoing skilled nursing assessments
- Perform routine skilled nursing visits as ordered
- Collect and document detailed clinical findings used to develop and update the patient's Plan of Care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled interventions
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and care plans
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation
This role requires strong documentation skills. RN visit notes and assessments are used to:
- Support the development and revision of the patient's Plan of Care
- Justify skilled nursing services
- Meet payer and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- License: Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience
- Home Health Experience: Strongly preferred
- Documentation Skills: Ability to complete detailed, accurate clinical notes
- Compliance: CPR certification and Level II background screening
- Transportation: Ability to travel to patient homes
- Classification: Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor
- Respect for clinical judgment and nursing autonomy
