Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pipefitters / Welders role located in Apache Junction, AZ. The role involves installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems for HVAC and industrial applications, including steam and other process piping. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, and threading pipe, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and preparing joints for welding and fitting. Team members will perform GMAW / FCAW welding and other welding techniques to join and repair piping, ensuring high-quality, leak-free systems that meet safety and code requirements. The position requires close collaboration with project managers, forepersons, and other trades on job sites, adherence to company safety protocols, and accurate documentation of work performed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in pipe installation and general pipefitting.
- Candidates should possess skills in welding, including TIG welding techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills related to steam and process piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety practices for pipefitting and welding.
- Experience working in commercial or industrial HVAC, mechanical, or construction environments preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safe work practices.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions and environments.
- Relevant trade certifications or apprenticeship completion in pipefitting or welding are beneficial.
