This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures, including balancing daily transactions.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processing.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to handle incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests.
- Assist with guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment and promoting hotel amenities.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer processes is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software for managing reservations and financial transactions.
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage for enhancing guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with guests.
- Ability to work independently during hours while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
- Must be able to work 7-3 and 3-11 and work weekends.
