Holiday Inn Express Oshkosh is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and taking pride in a job well done. Working alongside our maintenance team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining and continually improving the hotel through scheduled preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and timely repairs. Every day is different, and every task contributes to providing our guests with a safe, comfortable, and guest-ready experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain the overall appearance, functionality, safety, and guest readiness of the hotel by:

 Performing scheduled preventive maintenance to identify and resolve issues before they become larger repairs.

 Completing repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

 Performing basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and HVAC/PTAC maintenance.

 Assisting with the maintenance of the pool, hot tub, and related mechanical equipment while following all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

 Performing seasonal exterior maintenance, including landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal.

 Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.

 Conducting routine property inspections and communicating repair needs to hotel leadership.

 Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and storage areas.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

 Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.

 Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems.

 Works well independently, as part of a team, and collaboratively with other departments.

 Has experience in general building, property, apartment, commercial, or facilities maintenance.

 Is dependable, organized, and self-motivated.

 Demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to guest service.

Hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in residential, commercial,

Apartment or general building maintenance are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

 Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available.

 Primarily day shift.

 Some on-call responsibilities may be required.

 Alternating Saturdays may be part of the regular schedule.
