General Manager - Comfort Suites Morrow (Atlanta South)

Job Summary

We're hiring a General Manager for Comfort Suites Morrow, a 77 room limited service hotel

Choice Hotels property on Atlanta's south side (I-75, 10 min from

Hartsfield-Jackson Airport).

This is a hands-on role with a clear for a General Manager. We have Performance bonus tied to RevPAR, guest satisfaction scores, and cost control.

Responsibilities

- Run daily operations across front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and

maintenance

- Supervise and coach staff across multiple shifts

- Resolve guest complaints on the spot and follow up on service recovery

- Manage corporate direct bill accounts: CLC (Corporate Lodging Consultants),

Travel Alliance airline crews, and local negotiated rate (LNR) accounts

- Support group bookings

- Protect Choice Hotels brand compliance — inspection prep, cleanliness

scores, guest satisfaction targets

- Review night audit output and verify accurate daily financial reporting

- Monitor labor, supply, and vendor costs against budget

- Assist with local outreach to Clayton County companies for new corporate

contracts

Requirements

Must-haves

- 2 years hotel supervisory experience

- Hands-on experience with choiceADVANTAGE PMS (or equivalent: Opera, FOSSE,

OnQ)

- Strong guest service skills and the ability to de-escalate complaints calmly

- Proven ability to lead front-line staff across multiple shifts

- Working knowledge of rate codes, OTA channels, and basic revenue management

- Willingness to be on-call for emergencies and flexible on hours (including

weekends and nights)

- Excellent written and spoken English

Strongly preferred

- Prior experience at a Choice Hotels brand

- Familiarity with CLC and Travel Alliance crew programs

- Atlanta South / Clayton County market knowledge

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
